Wrapping Up Baseball and Softball

BYU Radio sports update!

BYU Softball finished up it's season in the NCAA Regional tournament with a loss to No. 24 North Dakota State (0-7) after winning their first game against Fresno State (8-7). Despite this loss, the players are satisfied with their season and the awards they received: The West Coast Conference awarded Player of the Year to junior Gordy Bravo, Pitcher of the Year to sophomore Mckenna Bull, and Coach of the Year to head coach Gordon Eakin. To add to their awards, seven BYU players participated in the All-Conference team. Way to go Cougs!

BYU Baseball heads into their final tournament strong with a 16-6 win against University of Utah and a two-game win against Santa Clara (8-5, 7-8, and 4-2). They will play in the West Coast Conference Tournament on Thursday through Saturday this week (May 21-23).
